Bob Marley Barley

June 2, 2010 by Julie 40 Comments

Barley is the jam. Not only does it rhyme with Bob Marley who is responsible for some pretty jammin’ music, but it tastes fantastic to boot! I cooked up some barley last night while I was making dinner and placed the hot grain in the fridge overnight so it would be nice and cold today….

Taste of Thai

June 1, 2010 by Julie 34 Comments

During my last trip to my parents’ house, I went “shopping” in their pantry, as I usually do. I always leave with new goodies I can’t wait to try. I was inspired to take coconut milk back to Orlando with me, because I loved the addition of the milk in a bowl of tom ka…

The Van’s cinnamon French toast sticks were a hit all around. All three of us enjoyed the crispy sticks topped with…

Off to California…

May 31, 2010 by Julie 27 Comments

…Pizza Kitchen, that is. ;D  After a good workout yesterday, my sister, Ryan and I had some grumbly tummies. I suggested grabbing dinner at California Pizza Kitchen because I recently received some “pizza dough” from the company to sample their new small cravings menu.   Apparently they got wind of my intense love for CPK frozen pizzas and figured…
