Peanut Butter Buddies

May 7, 2010 by Julie 29 Comments

Meet my peanut butter buddy! Sadie and I were peanut butter buddies this morning. As I enjoyed a peanut butter finger, Sadie enjoyed a peanut butter spoon (or two). I had to spoil Sadie a little bit because I’m going to miss her so much this weekend! Ryan is taking Sadie up to the Appalachian mountains to…

Eggplant Medallions

May 6, 2010 by Julie 39 Comments

Even though I completely adore the eggplant lasagna I’ve featured on this blog several times, I’ll be the first to admit that it takes a little longer to make than I’d like most days. I guess I’m a 20 minutes or less kinda girl! That particular recipe was calling to me after work today but…

I spread a wedge of Laughing…

Brace Face

May 6, 2010 by Julie 48 Comments

I never had braces growing up. I was given the option to have braces, but being 14 years old, I figured it didn’t matter and I decided against being a metal mouth. Fast forward 10 years and I was self-conscious about my “fangs.” I had two teeth on either side of my two front teeth…

Burger and Fries: Healthified

May 5, 2010 by Julie 38 Comments

I owe the tastiness of tonight’s dinner to my favorite grill master: After work and an hour-long walk with Sadie, Ryan headed out to the backyard to grill up some chicken breasts for him and a big portobello mushroom cap for me. That man is a grillin’ machine! He always gets it just right. The…
