Good morning to you,
We’re all in our places
With bright, shiny faces,
Good morning to you
Please tell me at least one of you has heard that classic children’s song before? My mom used to sing it to me and my sister when we were little and I was shocked when Ryan sang it to me one morning out of nowhere.
“You know that song!?”
We also both grew up singing the morning song that goes, “Wake up, wake up you sleepy head, get up, get up get out of bed.”
I guess it isn’t really a shocker that we have morning songs in this household since we have songs for rainy days. (I should sing the rainy day song today! It’s still raining like crazy in Ocala.) May our future children be blessed with the gift of a singing voice that actually sounds lovely so the future Fagans can sing without sounding like they’re dying.
The thunderstorms outside didn’t keep the people at our gym away. It was packed this morning!
I began my workout with 20 minutes on the elliptical before doing another LiveFit workout that targeted my back and biceps.
Since I’m not following the LiveFit program exactly (I’m not following the meal plan and am using the workouts simply as a guideline), I added some jump roping in the mix and my workout ended up looking like this:

Once we were back home, it was time for food.
I made myself a batch of pumpkin protein pancakes.
Topped with syrup for some sweetness!
And now it’s time to play catch up after the long holiday weekend. Hope your weekend was full of fun!
Question of the Morning
- Do you remember any silly songs from your childhood? Any favorites?
