I loved seeing the wide variety of workouts that popped up in my top 10 workout posts from 2017. Below you will find an assortment of bodyweight workouts, treadmill workouts, at home workouts, strength workouts and more! I really hope at least one of the workouts from last year’s collection pops out at you and helps motivate you the next time you’re looking to work up a sweat at home or at the gym!
And just in case you missed it, here’s a link to my Top 10 Recipes of 2017! Thanks so much to all who weighed in to tell me what kind of recipes you’d like to see more of on the blog in 2018!
Top 10 PBF Workouts of 2017
This was my first foray into workout posts with images and corresponding exercise descriptions which I personally think makes them a million times easier to follow! I’m so glad this bodyweight workout consistently pops up as the most popular workout I’ve shared on my blog because it’s one of my personal favorites. (I keep a screenshot of it on my phone for days when I need a little inspiration.) I love that it can be done anywhere – at home, in your hotel room, on vacation, etc!
I would love to do more roundup workout posts in the coming year because I think they make it a lot easier to quickly locate workouts that might interest you guys depending on your varied interests. Boot camp and circuit-style workouts are my personal favorite, so I love seeing this post claim a top spot!
The BOSU ball is one of my absolute favorite pieces of gym equipment. It’s so versatile and this workout incorporates it into a total body workout to target all major muscle groups and give you a little burst of cardio, too.
Tabata workouts are a go-to for me when I know my mind is all over the place and I want a quick and challenging workout. They always seem to fly by since each burst of an exercise only lasts for 20 seconds!
I wasn’t sure if this workout would resonate well with you guys so I was pleasantly surprise to see it pop up as a popular post last year. I am always on the lookout for low-impact workouts I can complete at home and this one fits the bill. It’s a silent workout, so keep this one in mind if you need a quiet workout to do in a small space during naptime, in your apartment or hotel room!
After Chase was born, the duration of my workouts dropped rather dramatically but the intensity picked up. I now rarely workout for more than 45 minutes at a time and this roundup of 30-minute at home workouts includes some of my favorite workouts I love to complete when I want to sweat but don’t want to spend all day exercising.
This quick and dirty core workout is only 10 minutes long and I love tacking it onto the end of a sweaty treadmill session for a little ab work.
I am really picky when it comes to leg workouts I actually enjoy so I loved seeing one of my favorites pop up as a popular workout post from last year!
This page on my blog is a great resource for anyone looking for a treadmill workout to complete, whether it be an interval workout, walking workout, incline workout and more.
The med ball is another piece of gym equipment I love incorporating into my workouts. Grab one to take your body through this full-body burner the next time you’re at the gym!
Additional Fitness-Related Blogs Posts

Oh I didn’t know you were certified to teach spin. That’s one of my goals to get certified in 2018. And I always love your workouts! It makes the time go by so much faster having something written and set before starting a workout.

Love this post and LOVE all of the workouts you share! I especially love the 25 minute HIIT treadmill workout and the weighted core workout! I love a good HIIT workout, and love working my core! These core moves are some of my favorites!! Since I am getting snowed in today, I will probably do another workout later and pick one these to do. 🙂 I hope you are having a great week, Julie! Xoxo

I’m definitely bookmarking this post!! Would love to hear about if there is anything you do to stay active at home throughout your day (other than an actual workout) on days that you can’t get to the gym? (Maybe you’ve already shared about this but I missed it!)

Love love your at home workouts and body weight workouts. I reference them constantly and use several of them weekly. As a stay at home mom of two little ones, these have been the most helpful workouts I’ve found to keep up consistent exercise (no excuses for not completing workouts that only take 30 min)!
Julie says
This is wonderful to hear! I’m so glad you like them, Madeleine!
Fiona @ Get Fit Fiona says
While it’s not specifically related to workouts, I’d love to hear about how you pick continuing education credits to keep your certifications. I’m trying to pick mine right now and it’s almost overwhelming to try to pick just a couple. There’s so many that I want to take.
Erinn says
I do your medicine ball workout all the time! It’s deceivingly hard! It’s short but gets me sweating in no time!
Kate says
I use all your workouts weekly!! I would love to see more gym workouts though- burn bootcamp screen shots/ weight or strength workouts. Also would love to see workout routine plans! Without burn bootcamp how do you decide each week what to do?
Regardless refer to your page daily for workouts!!
Kathleen says
I always love your workouts so I’m bookmarking this page to come back to it when I need a workout to do! Quick, 30 minute ones are my go-to because, well, kids! haha thanks for putting these all together in one convenient place!

Definitely need to try the bodyweight at home workout, with some slight modifications to make things less bouncy so I don’t anger the people in the apartment below me too much.
