But Really It's…

March 14, 2010 by Julie 17 Comments

Is it just me or do you find yourself looking at the clock the day after the time changes and saying to yourself, “The clock says it’s 9 a.m., but really it’s 8 a.m.” I think I do this for at least two days after the the time changes and I’m not quite sure why. Maybe to explain why I’m hungry or…

10k Outta the Way

March 13, 2010 by Julie 23 Comments

Today’s 10k went by in a flash! I loved the atmosphere, the excitement, enjoying new running scenery, the spectators cheering along the way… It was all so fun! By 8:30 a.m., I was done running 6.2 miles… I love having a 10k outta the way so early in the day. I typically lounge around and go…

Sch-Weaty Beast

March 10, 2010 by Julie 17 Comments

I used to never sweat. I would go to the gym, work out, and my face might perspire a little, but that would be it. These days I find myself sweating a lot more. My face still sweats the most, but I also sweat a lot between my “girls” and my stomach is almost always…

Raspberry Ricotta Waffle Sandwich

March 9, 2010 by Julie 22 Comments

Ever since I made ricotta stuffed French toast a couple weeks ago, I’ve enjoyed incorporating it into my breakfasts in different ways. Today’s ricotta-based breakfast was a winner! I started by toasting two whole grain waffles. While the waffles were toasting, I mixed frozen raspberries that I let thaw overnight with ricotta cheese to make…
