Good morning and happy, happy Friday! It seems like everyone is a little more chipper on Friday morning, so let’s ride the good mood vibe into the weekend!
Our plans include spending time with friends, an outdoor concert, hiking with Sadie and some TV time with House of Cards on Sunday night.

Things I’m Loving Friday
- Online Bathing Suit Shopping
I strongly dislike shopping for bathing suits in stores. I know it’s probably 10 times harder to find a cute suit that actually looks good on my body without trying it on first, but I much prefer shopping for swimsuits online. I have two girls’ weekend trips planned (one in April and a bachelorette party in May) and I’m in the market for a new swimsuit. I’ve been searching online for a cute new suits and a few different options that I’m considering include: L*Space fringe bikini top (in coral, black or citrus), Victoria’s Secret ruched bikini bottom (in Ikat), Target Mossimo hipster bikini bottom, Victoria’s secret white lace bandeau bikini top, Target Mossimo mix and match bandeau top, Target Mossimo printed side tie bikini bottom
With all the dog love that happens on this blog, it’s time to share some love with the cat owners out there! I hope this makes you smile!
- Earth Origins Bulk Bin Trail Mix
Finally a trail mix that understands that I want the chocolate to nut/raisin/other ingredient ratio to be 1:1.
- Sister Hazel Concert
Ryan and I are going to a Sister Hazel concert tomorrow night and the ‘90s music lover in me is psyched! “Champagne High” is one of my all-time favorite songs and I can’t wait to sing my face off.
I made another batch of these granola bars last night after dinner but changed up the add-ins. I combined pecans, mini chocolate chips, butterscotch chips and toasted coconut and the end result was too delicious not to share! YUM.

Yay! I love “Things I’m Loving Friday”! This is actually my first comment. I love your blog, Julie! You always look like such a happy, positive, radiant person. I think we’d be friends in real life 🙂 I think that a positive attitude is so important.
I am chiming in because I have tried on literally every single Target bathing suit this year in hopes of finding one that would fit. To be blunt, I have a larger rear-end (genetically–think Beyonce), and I feel like so many bathing suits just cut it in half and are not very flattering. The side-tie Target bathing suits, however, are SO flattering and I feel would flatter most body types. I also happened to get this in coral mix-and-match side-tie bottom to match the bandeau top you put above! (I think so, at least–the one I have looks more hot pink/coral in person.) This top fits my small-ish bosoms so well! I wear about a 36-38 B cup but can also fit into an A depending on the bra, and I got a large, but you are probably more petite than I am. It has a cup in the inside and just fits really nicely! Again, would flatter anyone!
I love all of the suits you posted above! I did not know that Victoria’s Secret bathing suits were so reasonable. I wonder how they would fit my booty though!

I LOVE Sister Hazel. I’ve seen them in concert three times, and they are soooo good. They are a home-grown Florida band too, which makes me love them even more.
I like the fringe top bathing suit option you gave. I wish I needed a new bathing suit, but no beach vacations are on the agenda for me at this time.
This week I’m loving Southwest Airlines. I’ve finally gotten a free flight from my loyalty points and booked a trip home to Florida to see my parents next weekend from California.

That cat picture is spot on. I have to shut my cats out of the room when I make my bed, because they love laying on it when I’m trying to put sheets on. Love them anyway, though. <3
I am pretty much doing all my shopping online these days. Especially when so many companies offer free returns, it takes so much less time than going to the store. Plus, so many retailers have special “online only” offerings, so this way you get to see everything!
You gotta have a little chocolate in your trail mix. And that right there is why my husband argues with me that trail mix is not a “health food”! 🙂
Great timing…I actually just looked at my to-do list for today and I’d written “granola bars???” since we’re out of homemade ones. Happy Friday!! Even though I am at work I think Fridays are my favorite day of the week! Everyone in the office is so excited for the weekend and in good moods!
I am loving that this weekend is clear for my husband and me! NO PLANS! I think some Hiking (It will be 60 degrees in Missouri tomorrow!) and relaxing together will be on the horizon!

Yay for bathing suit shopping! I always buy them online and love Athleta’s! Plus they do free returns so it makes it that much more justifiable to shop from my couch.

I have the L Space top in black and lime, I got them last spring and wore them like crazy last summer! They go with so many different bottoms, def worth the investment!!!

I always do my bikini shopping through VS because they have a ton of options, you can mix and match easily, and the shipping is simple. I have the white lace bandeau top and love it.
I love the white lace bandeau !! You should definitely get that one… though I know bandeaus can be annoying and not always stay in place !
I’m loving the fact that I have the weekend off AND we’re not supposed to get any snow in the northeast !!! We’ll probably get some rain but at this point I’ll take it!
i just ordered some new bikinis from VS recently as well and am stoked for summer to arrive (a bit later here in NYC than you’ll get, unfortunately!). lately, i’m lovin’ getting back into Latin dancing regularly. that’s my fave thing. 🙂

Have the L*space fringe top in black and love it!! Such good quality and size wise fit is ture to size (34C and I got a medium). I also have the victoria secret bottoms (M) and love them. I usually like a lot of coverage on my back side but these show a little more without being over exposed. They actually are very flattering because they lay without digging in. Highly suggest them!
Does the LSpace top have a decent amount of lining? I really like the coral color and the citrus tops, but I don’t want them to be see-through at all!
I have a light colored top too and have never noticed it being see through. Its basically the same material on the inside and outside…thin but see through.

I’m lovin’ country music these days. Something about living in Nebraska again has made me love it even more (if that is possible). Last night, my best friend took me to the Lady Antebellum/Kip Moore concert. It was amazing, but the best part was staring at Kip Moore. What is it about a country boy that can sing? So attractive!

If you love chocolate on your trail mixes, you should try Target’s Archer Farms Dark Chocolate Espresso Trail Mix. It’s probably not the nest for you, but it’s amazing!

I am completely hopeless when it comes to trying on bathing suits in store. I’m quite pale (alright …I’m pretty much albino) and the florescent lights used in change rooms do nothing except wash me out into look like a beluga whale. I love your choices of bathing suits. I’m thinking the Target Mossimo top will be a great idea for my upcoming adventure to Bali.
