Super Bowl Eats

February 1, 2021 by Julie 5 Comments

The Super Bowl is nearly here! In these crazy times, I realize Super Bowl parties won’t be rockin’ this year but since Ryan’s favorite team — the Tampa Bay Bucs — will be playing in the Super Bowl for the first time since 2003, our family is pretty darn psyched! I know a lot of us out there are looking for pretty much any excuse to have a reason to celebrate these days so we’re hopping on the Super Bowl train in our house and plan to watch the big game with our boys and some of our favorite eats.

Super Bowl Recipe Ideas

Just in you’ll be watching the Super Bowl and want to make it feel a little special with some delicious food, I wanted to round up some dishes we love in one spot that I think would make a wonderful addition to any Super Bowl spread.

Super Bowl Eats

Appetizers

  • Easy Black Bean Dip

Easy Black Bean Dip

If you’re looking for a dip to make for the Super Bowl on Sunday, I’ve got you covered. If you’re looking for a dip to make that is ridiculously easy, I’ve got you covered. If you’re looking for a dip you can throw together the day before the big game so you can check one more thing off your list, I’ve got you covered. Basically, what I’m saying is I’ve got you covered with this Easy Black Bean Dip!

  • Avocado Deviled Eggs

Avocado Deviled Eggs

This recipe for Avocado Deviled Eggs is a zesty, creamy and oh-so-tasty twist on a classic favorite!

  • Easy Cilantro Shrimp Appetizer

Easy Cilantro Shrimp Appetizer

The perfect light and simple crowd-pleasing dish that is bursting with flavor thanks to cilantro and a squeeze of fresh lime juice.

  • Easy Cream Cheese Shrimp Dip

This recipe continually gets a lot of love on Pinterest. It’s a family favorite from my mom’s side of the family and is a recipe we all look forward to digging into at nearly every family get-together!

Main Dishes

  • Easy Cheesy Crockpot Chicken Corn Chili

Easy Chicken Corn Chili

This recipe is one of the most popular recipes I’ve shared on the blog for good reason! Everyone loves it and it could not be any easier to make. We’re talking no chopping and practically zero prep work! Just dump everything in your crockpot and let your slow cooker do the work!

  • Vegan Bean Burgers

Whether you’re vegan, trying to eat a more plant-based diet or simply enjoy the taste of a made-from-scratch veggie burger, I this vegan bean burger recipe is made with black beans and kidney beans and a bunch of flavorful spices, veggies, pecans, whole grain oats and a drizzle of hot sauce.

  • Pesto Grilled Cheese

Pesto Grilled Cheese

This kinda-fancy-but-still-simple Pesto Grilled Cheese is made with crusty sourdough bread, butter (of course!), two different kinds of gooey cheese, fresh, juicy tomatoes and pesto sauce. It’s a fun take on grilled cheese that the whole family will love!

  • Ryan’s Go-To Burger Recipe

Ryan is in charge of grilling burgers in our house and has perfected his burger over the years. This is our family’s favorite!

Side Dishes and Salads

  • The Winning Cornbread Recipe

Winning Cornbread Recipe

Just in case you want something yummy to serve with your chili, this winning cornbread recipe continues to get rave reviews from you guys! If you like a slightly sweet cornbread with a hit of salty flavor, this recipe is a must-try!

  • Simple Summer Pasta Salad

Simple Summer Pasta Salad

I know it’s not summer but that doesn’t stop me from enjoying this Simple Summer Pasta Salad year-round. It’s another recipe that’s wonderful to prep ahead of time and tastes great by itself or topped with grilled chicken or salmon for a little boost of protein.

  • Chopped Broccoli and Brussels Sprouts Salad with Honey Mustard Vinaigrette

Chopped Broccoli and Brussels Sprouts Salad

Chopped salads are my favorite kind of salads because every bite packs so much flavor! The base of this salad is fresh broccoli and shredded Brussels sprouts and it’s a great one to make ahead of time since it still tastes fabulous the next day and doesn’t get all weird and wilted.

Desserts and Sweet Treats

  • Chocolate Chip Corn Flake Cookies

Packed with rich chocolate chips and crisp Corn Flakes cereal, these Chocolate Chip Corn Flake Cookies are soft and buttery and the perfect cookie to have on hand when your sweet tooth is begging for something deliciously different!

  • Chocolate Chip Almond Butter Bars

These chocolate chip almond butter bars taste like the perfect hybrid between a chocolate chip cookie and an almond butter blondie. The recipe calls for mini chocolate chips which I love because the tiny chips melt into the bars and make them extra chocolaty and almost brownie-like.
