Goooood afternoon! It’s time for your monthly Top 15 of 2015 post! At the end of 2014, I continued with a mini series I began a few years ago and featured the top posts of the year on PBF. Beginning in January, I decided to prolong the series for the duration of 2015 and highlight the top 15 posts from each month on the blog at the end of every month.
These are not necessarily the top new posts I publish each month, as throwback posts from several years ago seem to pop up and claim top spots each month which I always find interesting!
Here are your most popular PBF posts (according to pageviews) from the month of March, divided into three categories: Recipes, Fitness and Extras. (Note: This series does not include any giveaways, previous Top 15 posts or Things I’m Loving Friday posts.)
RECIPES
This recipe was a big hit in our house and a great way to sneak veggies into your morning meal. It’s easy to make and tastes great reheated the next day, too!
Thank you for reminding me about this beloved recipe from 2011!!! It is probably my all-time favorite protein pancake recipe (the pancakes really do taste like banana bread) and it’s also a recipe my sister and mom use all the time, too! I need to make these again ASAP.
If you’re looking for a crazy-easy recipe to amp up the flavor of your favorite fish, check out this post! The marinade comes together in no time at all and tastes oh so flavorful.
This 2013 recipe continues to be a popular one (largely thanks to Pinterest, I think) and I understand why! It’s a super tasty breakfast you can prep the night before and if you’re a peanut butter lover like me, I think it will be right up your alley.
This February recipe came to you guys from a Paleo cooking class I took in Charlotte. These muffins break the stereotype that most gluten-free baked goods are too dense and somewhat dry – they’re extremely light and fluffy and the recipe makes a great base for gluten-free muffins that you can make with your personal favorite additions like blueberries, dried cranberries, nuts and more!
FITNESS
Looking to feel the burn in your legs and booty? Check out this lower body workout! It requires no equipment and will leave you nice and sweaty.
This is a throwback post from 2012 (please forgive the Microsoft Excel graphics!) that contains a ton of fast-paced circuit workouts you can do from the comfort of your living room.
This blog post contains four 30-minute workouts: A treadmill workout, an elliptical workout, an at home workout and a total body circuit! It’s a great post to check out if you only have 30 minutes to sneak in a workout today.
YouTube can be a phenomenal resource for those looking to break out of a fitness rut, explore a plethora of at-home workout options or discover something new. This blog post from April 2014 contains a list of 10 popular YouTube workout channels that either I love or you guys highly recommend!
This blog posts documents my experience obtaining my AFAA group exercise certification. It contains a recap of the workshop, practical exam and written test.
EXTRAS
It looks like baby-related blog posts swept this category this month. (Truthfully, they claimed the top 20 posts of the month!) Thank you so much for sharing in our joy!
This blog post was, hands down, my most popular post of the month and actually the most popular PBF post in years! I was so, so thrilled to share our special news with you guys (and actually very anxious about it as well), so it felt wonderful to get it all out in the open after 17 weeks of secrecy. Thank you, again, for your sweet words and good wishes regarding our baby news. They mean so much to me.
This was the follow up post to our pregnancy announcement and claimed the runner up spot for the most popular post of the month. I addressed a bunch of questions surrounding our baby news and shared more behind-the-blog info surrounding the previous 17 weeks of my pregnancy.
The second part of the big pregnancy announcement follow up post! This blog post contains more information about my pregnancy and how things had been going up until the time I shared the news on the blog.
This post was my first pregnancy recap post! Before I announced my pregnancy on the blog, I began secretly typing up weekly recaps to publish after the news was out. This was the first one that documented weeks 8, 9 and 10 of my pregnancy.
I loved writing this blog post and sharing the sex of our little one with you guys! We can’t wait to meet our little boy!

Thanks for the roundup! I make steel cut oats in the rice cooker and then divide them out for 4 breakfasts. I have been super lazy and doing the same mix of maple syrup and almond butter every morning, but I think I may have to try and come up with some new flavor combinations I can share!

I have to say, I love your blog so much and I love going back and reading your old posts! I read one the other day that I am STILL laughing at. It’s the one titled “On the News….Again” where you were on the news wearing basically a parka and sweat pants. Lol!!! It was just so hilarious the way your worded it and the picture was just amazing. 🙂
